ABOUT

A summer tutoring program for students with special needs entering grades 1st - 8th grade.  This program will focus heavily on reading skills with each student's IEP goals/objectives integrated as much as possible.  Students MUST have a current IEP in place in order to attend.

When

We are officially starting on Monday June 8, 2020!! The program will run through the week of July 13, 2020.  Monday through Wednesday 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

We hope to give each student something to look forward to over the summer months that is both fun and beneficial to their academic growth.

Laurie Shelton

  • Bachelors Degree in Special Education M/M grades 1-12

  • Louisiana Certified in Special Education

  • 9 years teaching experience in a mild/moderate setting

  • 1 year teaching in Autism setting

Amy Porche

  • Bachelor's Degree in General Studies

  • Louisiana Certified in Special Education and Elementary Education K-6

  • 6 years teaching experience in an Autism setting

  • 1 year teaching in Mild/Moderate setting
